Very far from the place you thought you would never leave...!

Far from the ones you never wanted to leave..
Far from those who did not want to come back to you..
Far from the ones you left without a second thought
Far from the people you knew..

Far from all the family love 
Far from those moments with friends..
Far from the smiles that lighted up your day..
Far from all the sorrows you thought would never end..

Far from the person you were..
Far from the person you wanted to be..
Far from being free

Life keeps taking you  far..
From all these and more..
Giving more than you wished..
and taking away more than before..

It’s Shallow

The world is a huge place full of a lot many people! We are small entities in this world! Our world is very small when compared to “The WORLD”!  So we keep pulling a lot of people around us to make our world look a lil bigger. Our world comprises of “friends” and as life goes on our world keeps growing with friends! It’s a very dynamic process as people are replaced by new ones constantly..!

The problem starts now! It’s like filling your wallet with fake currency in exchange for the real one. At the end of this process, you have a wallet full of money but what is the use? You cannot spend it anywhere!

The truth is more complicated and interesting..! We are filling our lives with people who are there, just to add numbers to our world! However if seen closely, it’s like a layer of gas that that just evaporates time and again (Poof..Poof...Poof…) and leaves a “blank” in our world!

Coming back to what we wanted- our world looking big as compared to “The WORLD” and here it is - BIG and hollow..!

We somehow end up surrounding ourselves with people who we are constantly scared will evaporate at the slightest sign of trouble! We just keep running around making everything perfect for everyone to stay… Only to realize in the end that at times people just evaporate for a reason that even ‘reason’ wont understand..!!

It’s a constant guessing game as to who’s fake and who’s not..!

And a game where a correct guess hurts as much as a wrong one...maybe even more..!

Golden Cities

Flying over the Golden cities...


It all began with a runway lit with diamonds..
Huge flash lights shrinking gradually
Toy car's  moving mechanically in their assigned slots


Flying over the  Golden  cities...


Its now a dull gold sea glistening far below..
With minute specs of light burning lying dying embers of coal
Sparkling, Glittering and now blinking...they are a mirror image of the stars above

A tar colored river flows by quietly among random blocks of gold
All connected by shining gold chains..(The never ending highways)
Flying over the  Golden  cities...


Soon its the everlasting darkness beyond the clouds
The moon floods the ocean of clouds, which now resembles the creamy desert...
Flying over the  Golden  cities..


Moving as close to one as far as we are from the other...
With the spotlights growing bigger, we reach another starry path
that leads to another city.. the Golden city that it might be to someone flying above..!
